How to Raise a Complaint
Last updated: October 2026
We want every homeowner who reaches Dependentday Heating & Air to be treated fairly and honestly. If something went wrong, please let us know. This page shows how to file a complaint and what happens afterward. It is a general template, not legal advice.
Topics You Can Raise
You can write to us about:
- Your experience when contacting Dependentday Heating & Air
- The way your personal information was handled
- Anything on this website that seems unclear or wrong
- The conduct of a provider we connected you with
If the Problem Is With a Provider
Providers in our network are independent businesses. They answer for their own estimates, prices, equipment, warranties, work and customer service. If something went wrong with work in your home, the usual first step is to bring it straight to the provider and keep a written record.
We still want to hear about it. Feedback on providers helps us keep our network honest, and providers who repeatedly fall short of what we expect may be removed. Please note that Dependentday Heating & Air cannot settle contract disputes, handle warranty claims, refund a provider's work or make decisions for a provider.
Filing Your Complaint
Email contact@dependentday.garden and include:
- Your name and a way to reach you
- The date you contacted us or the provider
- The phone number you called or the form you used, if you remember
- The provider's name, if you know it
- A clear account of what happened and what outcome you hope for
After You Write
We will confirm receipt by email, usually within a few business days. Then we will look into what happened, which may include reaching out to the provider. Afterward, we will reply with what we found and any steps we are taking.
Still Unhappy?
If our answer does not satisfy you, reply and ask us to take another look. You may also contact your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or your local Better Business Bureau. For issues with HVAC contractors, your state's contractor or mechanical licensing board may be able to help too.
